Our Congress Centre opened after complete refurbishment in September 1998. Located in the heart of town, it is just steps from the main hotels and restaurants and 5 minutes away from the highway (600 parking places under-ground).

Our Congress Centre offers meeting planners exceptionnal flexibility and the support of a team of professionals dedicated to making every event a major success. It is the perfect environment for meetings of 3 to 500 delegates (congresses, conventions, exhibitions, seminars, banquets...) and provides you with a 496 seat-tiered auditorium and 600 square meters modular rooms equipped with high technology.

- 496 seats with writing supports: Stage: 8.70 m length, 5.20 m depth and 4.4 m height.
- Lighting: 96 circuit lighting control, 60 KW possible on stage, spotlights.
- Full sound system: 24 track console (15 mono, 9 stereo), fixed on portable microphones.
- Projection: Overhead projector, slide projector, screen 4x3m, cyclorama 8x4.4 m.
- Audio-visual equipment: Video projector (PC computer connection possible), video recorder (VHS/NTSC/U Matic/BETA), video camera.
- Translation equipment: 2 translation booths

610 m² modular rooms with a bar.
- Darius Milhaud room: 200 m² which can be divided into 4 function rooms (100, 50, 50 and 25 m²).
- Forbin room: 100 m² which can be divided into 3 function rooms (30, 25, and 25m²).
- Sainte-Victoire room: 210 m².
- Picasso room: 100 m².
A 150 m² reception lobby with: a reception desk, a cloakroom, phone boxes, an organizer's office equipped with phone links, fax and photocopier.

Our Convention Bureau can propose you other venues (private venues, cultural venues, meeting facilities in universities...)

Social program

Our Convention Bureau can assist the organizers of any event (congress, seminar...) and organize a complete social programme: guided tours in the town, day or half-day excursions in Provence, sports activities, special gala dinners or theme parties, entertainment.

Located in the centre of one of the richest tourist regions in Europe, Aix is an ideal starting point to discover all the charms of Provence.

From superb landscapes painted by Cézanne, dominated by Mt Saint-Victoire, to gorgeous "Verdon Gorges", from wide-open spaces in Camargue to the "Baux de Provence" medieval village, from the Trapist Abbeys in the Luberon to the wonderful "calanques" in Cassis, our Convention Bureau can organize a wide range of visits and excursions through beautiful and various landscapes.

Gala Evening or theme parties

In a splendid "Bastide" or in a middle-age castle in Aix countryside, delegates will enjoy our traditional Provencal cooking and our Provencal wine called the "Côteaux d'Aix". Everything will be done to make your evening a unique experience.
