A discovery itinerary through the most beautiful and charming hill-top villages in Luberon, all sentinels of Time gone by: through Oppède-le-Vieux (stop) where Time seems to have suspended, Lacoste (ruins of the castle of the Marquis de Sade), Bonnieux (a former papal estate), arrival in the "impregnable" Ménerbes. Standing on its "stone ship" where artists such as Picasso and Nicolas de Staël chose to stay (stop, visit and wine tasting) . Stop in the perched village of Moustiers-Ste-Marie, so famous for its earthen ware workshops (free time for lunch and visit on own). In the afternoon, on to the breath taking opening of the Grand Canyon of the River Verdon. Scenic touring of Sainte Croix Lake, view on the picturesque village of Bauduen and a last stop in Sainte Croix before going back to Aix.

You'll have an hour and a half to visit the village which is rich in 15th and 16th Century mansions, and it’s Castle (visit optional).
