A discovery itinerary through the most beautiful and charming hill-top villages in Luberon, all sentinels of Time gone by: through Oppède-le-Vieux (stop) where Time seems to have suspended, Lacoste (ruins of the castle of the Marquis de Sade), Bonnieux (a former papal estate), arrival in the "impregnable" Ménerbes. Standing on its "stone ship" where artists such as Picasso and Nicolas de Staël chose to stay (stop, visit and wine tasting) . It's through the Plateau des Claparèdes (numerous "bories"), that we'll reach the remarkable Saignon, offering from its famous spur, a quite impregnable view on the Plateau of Vaucluse and surroundings.

Return to Aix along small roads, through the enchanting landscape of Les Alpilles.

In the afternoon, a discovery itinerary through the most picturesque hill top villages of Monieux (stop), St Saturnin-les-Apt (panorama), Saignon (stop, exceptional panorama). Back to Aix through the Plateau of Claparèdes with its numerous "bories" (typical dry-stoned houses) among the lavender fields.

Through Arles, on to the Regional Nature Park of Camargue where bulls and horses roam free in wide spaces. Arrival in Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the capital of Camargue, along the wild and picturesque Route de Cacharel. Visit of the fortified church with its famous legend, free time, possibility of swimming. In the late afternoon, stop at the Bird sanctuary of Pont de Gau for a discovery, on foot, in between marshes and reeds of the main birds of Camargue (Many pink flamingos and other birds) OR horse riding. Return to Aix.

Further up in La Sainte Baume Mountain, a 45 mn walk through the once sacred forest of the druids, we’ll lead you to the cave of Mary Magdalene. It's there that, according to the Provençal tradition, the patron saint of Provence would have lived as a hermit. An unforgettable place ! For people fond of Nature, legends and traditions.

After crossing a peaceful countryside, arrival in an immense and open horizon: the limestone plateaus of Haute Provence, deeply dug by the magnificent Gorges of the Verdon River. A complete tour of the Grand Canyon. Corniche Sublime: many stops at viewpoints: Illoire Pass, Cirque Vaumale, Bauchet's cliffs, Horsemen's cliff, Fayet Tunnels, Artuby bridge, La Mescla balconies, A grandiose setting and impressive ravines. Back along the North Bank (Point Sublime) and stop in the perched village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie so famous for its earthenware before returning to Aix.
