The castle was the property of the Archbishops of Aix, King René, Charles III and King Louis XI of France.
The classic structure, which is made up of a central building and two wings, is one of the most sizeable in Provence. The interior is large, and decorated with plaster mouldings, paintings and beautiful marble fireplaces

Patricia Pacchiano, a potter with 10 years' experience, based in St Paul Lez Durance, is delighted to offer a range of earthenware and stoneware crockery and decorative objects. Patricia produces work to customer orders, and can create tiles for pigeon lofts in glazed clay, street or house name plates and original designs on kitchen tiles.
She looks forward to welcoming you to her workshop to learn more about her craft. You can also find Patricia at one of the many quality pottery and craft markets which are held throughout the year or at a show, such as "Côté Sud" in Aix en Provence and Nimagine (2009).

Foreign Legion veterans will be delighted to welcome you to this institution set at the foot of Sainte-Victoire Mountain, which is the only one of its kind in the world and so important to the legion. Discover the white, red or rosé "esprit de corps" vintage wine, which is produced by the legionnaires on the estate's 40 hectares of vineyard. Join the legionnaires to experience a little of their history, solidarity and friendship in an outstanding setting, by visiting the Uniform museum, with its 150 exhibits, the ceramics and bookbinding workshops and the shop and restaurant.
