Set in the marvellous Hôtel Boyer d’Eguilles, the museum (founded in 1838) possesses a unique French collection of dinosaur fossils found around the Sainte-Victoire mountain.

This is accompanied by a collection of fish, insects and fossilised plants found in the Aix region by Aixoise scientist Gaston de Saporta.
