The Roquefavour aqueduct: is the largest stone aqueduct in the world. This veritable masterpiece, 375 metres long and 84 metres high, with 3 tiers of arches, crosses the Arc Valley at Ventabren.

It was designed and built in five years under the direction of the engineer De Montricher, being inaugurated on 19 December 1847. It supplied the city of Marseille with water.
